Terrae is located in Bendigo, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy recognising the region’s diverse food culture and the community’s commitment to all things food!
Terrae is a 60 seat, refined European inspired restaurant with a subterranean Cellar Bar for 40 people. Our food reflects the seasons, the region & what is growing in our kitchen gardens on our 25 acre farm. We are not bound by tradition but take inspiration from classic methods of cookery and bring our menu to life with contemporary ideas and presentation.
Our beverage offering is similarly diverse showcasing the brewers, winemakers and distillers in Victoria along with an interesting selection of wines from other wine regions within Australia and overseas.
Terrae opened in December 2024 and has quickly established itself as a leading example of regional dining. As the business grows, so too must our team of professionals. We are seeking the below to work alongside us.
Restaurant and Bar Staff
Bartender – Casual position
Restaurant (Front of House) Staff – Full time & Casual positions
Chefs and Kitchen Staff
Breakfast Chefs – Full time positions available (no split shifts & no nights)
Apprentice Chefs – Full time position available
Kitchen Hands – Full time & casual positions available
What we offer

Ability to work under the leadership of a renowned Executive Chef – awarded consecutive Chef’s Hats–Good Food Guide at various restaurants across regional Victoria.
Focus on regional and seasonal food and produce direct from our farm
Flexible shifts across a 4-5 day roster

Suitable candidates must have the following:
Restaurant (Front of House) Staff
Previous experience working in a café or restaurant environment
Able to thrive in a busy environment while delivering warm, attentive service with a smile
Genuinely passionate about food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences
Self motivation, initiative and a passion for food, beverage & hospitality
Attention to detail, great communication skills & the ability to work as part of a team
Bar Staff
Demonstrated experience in a similar bar or hospitality setting
Confident in cocktail preparation, wine service, and general beverage knowledge
Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision and support front of house staff
Breakfast Chef/Cooks
Trade qualification and a minimum 2 years experience in similar role
Creativity and passion for the industry
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Kitchen Hands
Creativity and passion for the industry
No experience needed
Suitable for current year 10 or 11 student
