The Role
The System Administrator position is responsible for day-to-day systems administration, system access, report production, system compatibility, scheduled upgrades, and provision of cross functional support to the projects and analysis team within the IT Services department. This position is aimed to have an understanding of the Technology One system administration, functional configuration, and integration across all.
The position works closely with business users, IT team and external stakeholders to review system administration, access management, and functional configuration. With strong communication, business and technical skills, the position will engage with all types/levels of business users and assist with delivering effective solutions to achieve efficient use of technology.
Selection Criteria
Proven experience in Technology One (Ci Anywhere) system administration, improvement, and implementation.
Proven experience in cloud-based systems and integrations.
SQL query writing skills, experience with data models, Crystal Reports, XLOne reporting, and ETLs.
Implement/ upgrade systems as required and ability to push boundaries and use information systems technologies to drive change.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all types of stakeholders.
Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to develop configuration/as-built documentation, and training materials.
Well-developed organisational skills to manage competing priorities and business needs.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated experience in ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge management process.
Completion of an IT/IS/Computer Science/Software Engineering degree and industry experience in system administration or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Highly regarded:
Understanding of the Agile methodology (desirable).
Experience with Local Government Corporate Operations (desirable).
Understanding of the ITIL framework (desirable).
