The Opportunity
Join a leading national infrastructure business at the forefront of Australia’s transport, utilities, and construction sectors. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, they’ve built a collaborative, high-performing finance team and are now seeking a Tax Accountant to step into a broad, commercially involved role.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone coming out of a Chartered firm (3+ years), ready to transition into industry and take ownership of tax compliance and advisory matters across a complex structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and other indirect taxes
• Manage tax affairs across trusts, partnerships, and group entities
• Liaise with shareholders, regulators, and financiers on tax matters
• Support month-end reporting and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc commercial reporting

What You Bring

• 3+ years in a Chartered Accounting environment (ideally mid-tier)
• CA/CPA qualified or near completion
• Sound knowledge of Australian tax legislation, ATO compliance, and AASB/IFRS standards
• Experience with trusts, partnerships, or large group structures is a strong advantage
• Proactive mindset and ability to work collaboratively across finance and operations
