About the role: A fantastic opportunity for a temp Accountant within the not for profit industry has arisen. You will be assisting with the month end process, balance sheet reconciliations and month end journals and accounts payable and accounts receivable
Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end financial close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Create and post month-end journal entries.
• Record accruals for outstanding purchase orders.
• Support the preparation of month-end and ad-hoc financial and management reports.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide assistance during interim and year-end external audits.
• Support internal audit engagements and related activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
• Strong understanding of and ability to apply Accounting Standards
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail with a hands-on approach
• Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation skills
• Self-motivated with a commitment to accuracy and timely delivery
• Able to work independently with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude toward work
• Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
• Confident and professional phone manner when interacting with clients
• Completed or nearing completion of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
