The role of Company Accountant involves providing accounting support to the Finance Manager and Company, responsibilities including are not limited to:

• Maintain controls over bank, suppliers, payroll and general ledger reconciliations
• Conduct and report on variance analyses
• Prepare monthly consolidated management financial reports
• Prepare investment portfolio reports
• Treasury management
• Prepare ASX and statutory reports – monthly NTA’s, monthly cashflows, quarterly cashflows, half year auditor reviewed and full year audited reports
• Prepare BAS, PAYG, FBT and Payroll Tax returns and insurance related documentation
• ASIC, ASX compliance, forms and reporting
• Liaison with share registry – corporation actions
• Drafting of memos, board papers and other required documents
• Company and capital markets research
• Due diligence on investment opportunities
• Travel and expense claims, cash and credit card reconciliations
• Statutory reports on revenues and expenditures
• Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts and reporting on variance analyses
• Financial modelling and analysis
