The successful candidate will possess the following:

1. Good communication skills. Good organisation skills – time management, scheduling, work prioritisation.

2. Well-presented – polite, good countenance. Ability to remain calm under pressure.

3. Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Team player.

4. Experience preferred, but not necessary: Basic accounting knowledge and understanding is a must eg balance sheet, income statement, journal entries.

5. Basic understanding of income tax law, GST law, Xero preferred but not compulsory.

The job position covers the following duties but not limited to:

1. Trust accounting for property management and sales functions. This includes receiving and disbursing trust funds, processing invoices (to landlords, creditors, tenants, buyers and sellers etc.), updating trust systems’ data, reconciling trust data to external information sources, general bookkeeping for trust accounts and ledgers.

2. Corporate entity accounting functions including bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable reconciliation and manager, bank reconciliations, accounting investigations.

3. Application of income tax and GST laws to accounting processing of transactions.
