About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join us in this crucial role to provide Social Work service to Wagga Wagga Ambulatory Rehabilitation Service (WWARS) community clients and inpatients of the Rehabilitation Ward at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
This position is managed by the WWARS Coordinator, with discipline specific clinical supervision provided by the Social Work Department Manager.
As the Rehabilitation Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
- provide intervention where psychosocial, emotional and environmental factors affect the diagnosis, recovery and discharge of the patient.
- Participate in clinical supervision and complete activities associated with clinical supervision as negotiated with supervisor
- Participate in quality improvement activities and workplace education to contribute to improved care

- tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership to AASW
