About the role:

Operating within the Enterprise Team, the Commercialisation Manager will provide oversight and support for the pipeline of commercialisation projects within the ACU Enterprise Clinic, as ACU's Knowledge Transfer Office. This role is pivotal in enhancing ACU's reputation as a leader in research impact and innovation, aligned with ACU mission and Vision 2033. The Manager's responsibilities span from concept through to commercial realisation, thereby facilitating a culture of applied, commercially aware innovation and translation across the University. The Manager will be responsible for guiding project development, developing commercial strategies, managing intellectual property, securing investments/funding, fostering industry partnerships, and ensuring that commercial activities contribute to the university's strategic objectives and revenue streams. The Manager will also actively coach and mentor project teams, thereby enhancing entrepreneurial skills among academics and staff. The role effectively combines support functions with governance administration. This crucial balance supports operational excellence, organisational health and integrity, and successful commercialisation. The role reports to the Dean (Enterprise).

What we offer:

Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,383 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.

Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
