About The Role
Nbryo is seeking an experienced field trial manager, with a background in coordinating field trials or agricultural research projects, to lead the rollout of field trials to support the development and validation of our major commercialisation projects.
Reporting to the Product Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring field trials are completed according to plan, on schedule and on budget. The role involves working across Nbryo’s functional teams, as well as forming effective working relationships with cattle producers and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) technicians and embryologists.
We have a scale-up mindset that is fast-paced, and you will work across the business to manage and maintain quality outcomes to meet the company’s vision and strategy. The role will have frequent periods of travel to farms, both nationally and internationally.
You will be accountable for:
Field trial coordination including travel to sites and contributing to trial design
Data management to support field trials, including preparation of reports to internal and external stakeholders
Training and safety aspects including inductions at each trial site, preparing risk assessments and developing and implementing tailored training programs
Regulatory compliance to safety standards, preparation of animal ethics submissions and implementation and monitoring of animal welfare best practice during trial execution.
Travel and logistics management, and
Cross-functional collaboration.
This is a hybrid role, based in Freeway Office Park, Eight Mile Plains. Requires current open Australian drivers license and proof of QFever immunity status.
Selection Criteria
Knowledge:
Understanding of Assisted Productive Technology (ART) or veterinary practices relevant to field trials
Familiarity with Australian agricultural regulations and guidelines.
Skills:
Capability to lead and motivate teams involved in the field trials that involve both internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and reporting data from field trials
Willingness and ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical tasks associated with field trials
Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and schedules
Aptitude for addressing and resolving issues that may arise during field trials
Competency with relevant software tools (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel).
Experience:
Previous experience in managing field trials or agricultural research projects
Experience with Assisted Reproductive Technology is a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in agricultural science, animal science, biology, or a related field.
