Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs or component replacements
• Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintain maintenance logs and service records accurately
• Follow WHS guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability

Requirements:

• Trade qualified as a Fitter
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Knowledge of WHS practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Forklift license (preferred)
• Welding skills (advantageous)
