We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join our Melbourne team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of logistics, freight, and inventory operations while supporting our project and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a process-focused mindset, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide the Sales team with accurate, on time freight quotes.
Book and follow up on freight arrangements for events.
Maintain current stock forecast spreadsheets and ensure data accuracy.
Liaise with the National Logistics Manager regarding sub-hire of equipment, including quantities and scheduling.
Contribute to and maintain updates within Project Management tools.
Ensure the operating system (HirePos) remains accurate and current.
Actively participate in the improvement of internal processes and procedures.
Collaborate and communicate clearly with team members across all departments.
Interact professionally and politely with all external customers.
Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment whilst driving a culture of `safety first’.
· Plan and implement efficient cleaning schedules with correct crewing numbers.
· Reporting standards always adhered to.
· Track stock and tool inventory levels.
· Complete all Pick Slips to 100% accuracy, on time and in full.
Follow current dispatching and receiving processes correctly and promptly.
Follow eps Warehouse Workflow for all jobs from quote phase to completion.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in logistics, operations coordination, or a similar management role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management tools and CRM systems - especially Excel.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service-oriented with a professional and courteous approach.
Willingness to travel domestically and attend on-site visits as required.
