The Role:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join our team. We are seeking a customer-centric professional who thrives on building lasting relationships and is motivated by the opportunity to be a trusted expert for our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess client scenarios for creditworthiness.

Understanding of how to structure a loan to be presented to a lender.

Referencing lenders to ensure credit appetite is met.

Understanding of current lending policies.

Completing file management and follow-ups.

Liaising with lenders and business partners.

Manage client relationships through the processing stages of their loan structure and strategy.

Providing support to the Mortgage Broker as required.

About You:

Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage broking with strong knowledge of mortgage products and lending criteria.

Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities, with a can-do attitude.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in computer skills with experience using financial software and CRM systems relevant to the mortgage industry.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Strong time management and organisational skills, with a proven history of prioritising and meeting deadlines.

Ability to manage high pressure situations in a calm and professional manner.

Proven ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, Lender BDMs, Real Estate Agents, and Solicitors.

Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking.
