Role:

An undergraduate Accountant position for immediate hire. This role will evolve into a 2026 full-time graduate accountant position.

Qualifications & experience of the following, required for this role

Current GPA above 5.0 (Strict)

Planned to graduate before March 2026

Bookkeeping experience (Preferred)

Payroll experience (Preferred)

XERO experience is desirable, but not essential for this role

High level of attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive "team player"

Ability to build relationships with clients

Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism

Excellent time management skills

Can do attitude, fast learner and team player

Tasks & responsibilities

Maintain our database using XPM

ASIC corporate compliance service

Liaise with the ATO as required by clientsProviding bookkeeping and payroll services for our business clients, under supervision by our Senior Bookkeeping team member

Answering calls

Supporting the team with any administrative tasks matters

Assisting our clients with Xero, bookkeeping, and administration queries

Direct response to clients regarding administrative-related queries

Preparation of simple BAS returns under supervision and review by senior team members (if you wish to learn, but not essential)

Preparation of company, individual, partnership, trust, and SMSF tax returns

Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual BAS/IAS returns

Management accounting, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations, and payroll

Other general administrative tasks where required

Direct contact with clients for various business and tax matters
