Cairns Air Solutions is seeking a qualified and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic who specialises in the installation of air conditioning systems – including but not limited to packaged units, split ducted systems, and VRV/VRF systems.

We’re a locally owned and operated Cairns business, known for high-quality air conditioning and refrigeration services across residential and commercial projects. Our team takes pride in professionalism, reliability, and delivering exceptional results.

🔧 About the Role

You’ll be responsible for installing a wide range of air conditioning systems – from small residential split systems to complex commercial VRV/VRF and ducted setups. The ideal candidate will bring solid installation experience, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering work to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic
• Proven experience in installing HVAC systems including packaged, split ducted, and VRV/VRF systems
• Current Refrigeration Handling Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Own set of tools relevant to the trade
• Full rights to work in Australia
