Job Summary
As a Retail Assistant your main role will be to create an amazing customer experience for every customer that steps into our stores, every time! You will do this by creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where customers feel welcome. Above all, we are looking for someone who is a team player, who is willing to contribute to an inclusive and supportive environment and who is eager to continue to learn and grow personally and professionally.
Core Responsibilities as a Retail Assistant:
Customer Experience
- You have a passion for best in class customer experience, and are motivated to exceed customers expectations.
- You are able to interact and build ongoing rapport with customers from any walk of life through a warm and professional character and presentation.
- You are able to move productively on the floor to engage with customers and attend to store and customer needs.
- Able to problem solve and partner with store leadership to support customer inquires and issues.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to willingly contribute towards achieving store KPI results.
Floor Duties
- Creates excitement and generates connection with our customers on the retail floor.
- Performs product task, garments back from fits, depleted stock replenished, sizing, ect, in accordance to store operating principles throughout the shift.
- Performs assigned cleaning tasks prior and post trade and throughout the shift to maintain the luxurious look and feel of the store.
- Unpacks boxes for inventory as required, boxes can weigh 4-10kgs, and supports visual merchandising when required.
- As directed by the Store Manager, 2IC or 3IC completes other additional duties and assignments as required.
Teamwork
- Able to build rapport and develop respectful and supportive relationships with all team members.
- Proactively looks for ways to contribute to others and collaborates with team members to ensure excellent customer service and that the stores operations are supported.
- Contributes to an inclusive environment and fosters a sense of belonging for everyone by inviting and appreciating differences, to ensure a respectful and supportive experience for employees and customers alike.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Sales experience is essential
- Eligibility: Legally eligible to work in the location of your place of work
- Availability: Willing to work a flexible schedule.
Willingness requirement:
- Willing to work as apart of a team or complete task individually.
- Willing to work on the store floor for most of a shift, to deliver customer experience and maintain store operations.
