Our work encompasses every part of our State; from our cities to our regions, connecting and strengthening community. We value diversity and inclusion and foster an environment of collaboration, flexibility, and support for our staff.

The Opportunity
The Investigations, Conduct and Assurance Unit investigates matters that may be referred by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), the Office for Public Integrity (OPI), the Ombudsman South Australia (OSA), South Australian Police (SAPOL) or through internal reporting mechanisms. The Unit Manager, Investigations, Conduct and Assurance is responsible for the management, leadership and coordination of internal employee conduct investigations referred to the Unit and proactively provides specialist expertise and advice to ensure adequate control systems and strategies are implemented to mitigate misconduct risk throughout the Department.

The Unit Manager is responsible for building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and to continually assess and manage the risks of fraud, corruption or misconduct. The Unit Manager ensures departmental policies, procedures and processes maintain a strong fraud and corruption prevention framework, and that staff are aware of their obligations.

If this sounds like you and you are a proactive and results-driven professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence, we encourage you to apply.
