Our Atherton-based team is looking for a passionate & supportive individual to join our Communications department as a full-time permanent Strategic Communications Advisor.

The Strategic Communications Advisor is required to provide high-level coordination, expertise, and delivery of internal and external communication strategies that support Tablelands Regional Council’s strategic priorities. The role ensures clarity, consistency and impact across all communications while partnering with staff to build organisational capability and reputation. This position ensures communication efforts are aligned with TRC's strategic goals, enhance its reputation, and engage effectively with stakeholders. The position is responsible for ensuring clarity, consistency and transparency in messaging, while providing guidance and support to stakeholder.

  • Base salary package from $95,552.46 per annum ($3,675.09 per fortnight)
  • Locality allowances (if eligible)
  • Attractive work/life balance - 72.5 hours per fortnight
  • Flexible working arrangements with RDO incentive
  • 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
  • Attractive superannuation - up to 12% employer contribution
  • Access to pro-rata long service leave after 7 years' of service
