About the role

Join our passionate team as an Early Childhood Trainee at A Country Garden Early Childhood Centres' across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region of Queensland. This part-time role will see you gain valuable on-the-job experience while working towards a formal qualification in early childhood education.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging educational programs for children aged 0-5 years
• Provide a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment that supports the wellbeing and development of each child
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
• Participate in daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changes and rest periods
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre's operations and practices

What we're looking for

• A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the growth and development of young children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and the team
• Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to work towards a formal early childhood education qualification
• Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a cooperative team spirit
• A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
