We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance team for quality electrical cables. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

Key responsibilities include:

In charge of the workshop, working highly qualified trades (Fitter Trade with a lot of experience & some boilermaker/safety experience).

Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills/experience, or experience with complex machinery maintenance.

Forklift licence, Driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Machine Installation

Physically fit (moving 20KG+ consistently).

General building maintenance and repairs.

Prioritise work according to business requirements ensuring resources are available and used in a manner that promotes the greatest return on safety and production.

Assign daily work tasks and manage team productivity.

Liaising with contractors when required.

Managing work loads & reporting to Manufacturing Manager with outcomes etc.

Update the maintenance software system (AMPRO) and reporting. Computer knowledge a must.

Preventative maintenance of cable manufacturing machinery (i.e. extruder, strander, drawing machines etc).

Ordering of spare parts and management of maintenance consumables.

Willingness to learn and "can do" attitude.
