Description

The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for:

• Prepare detailed financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
• Budgeting & forecasting
• CAPEX Budgeting, modelling
• Profitability, pricing, margin analysis
• Ad hoc financial modelling and presentation to the board on potential investment opportunities
• Assist with month end reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate project performance and financial outcomes.
• Analyse variances and trends to identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Provide insights on key performance metrics and develop actionable recommendations.
• Support senior management with ad-hoc financial modelling and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Profile

A successful Commercial Analyst should have:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA/CPA
• Experience in manufacturing or relevant industry
• Experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
• Sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
