ICT Account Manager – Cloud Support (AWS Focus)
NEXTGEN Distribution Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and customer-focused ICT Account Manager to join our high-performing Cloud team. This full-time role involves managing relationships with existing and prospective customers to support and grow their adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our partners through technical onboarding, product guidance, and commercial enablement.
This is an office based position and will be located at our HQ at 8/153 Walker Street, North Sydney. All candidates must be able to attend in person, this location.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of cloud customers and partners.
Support partners and resellers with onboarding to AWS cloud services and assist with account setup and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate and timely product, pricing, and billing support.
Deliver product guidance and drive adoption of AWS services based on customer needs and usage data.
Proactively identify upsell opportunities and support cloud sales growth through enablement activities.
Liaise with vendor teams to resolve technical or service delivery issues.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical account management, customer support or cloud services role, preferably in an ICT distribution or vendor environment.
Proven experience supporting or managing cloud-based technologies (preferably AWS).
Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them for commercial stakeholders.
Experience using CRM platforms and cloud management or billing tools is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications in IT, Business, or related disciplines will be well regarded.
AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) are advantageous but not essential.
Salary range: AUD $80,000 – $85,000 + superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
