About the Role

Reporting into Finance, this autonomous Payroll Officer position will see you taking ownership of the payroll function. You'll bring your full-function payroll knowledge and familiarity with Employment Hero to deliver high-quality outcomes in a short-term role.

Duties:

Perform end-to-end payroll in a timely & efficient manner

Process leave calculations, including long service, maternity, and parental leave

Perform accurate superannuation and tax calculations

Undertake terminations & redundancies

Correctly interpret complex EBAs and Awards

Communicate with stakeholders across the business

Manage the payroll inbox and resolve payroll queries

Skills and Experience

Prior experience performing end-to-end payroll

Employment Hero experience is essential

Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Confident interpreting EBAs and Awards

Ability to work independently and resolve payroll issues
