Join the Yellow Door Kids Team: Occupational Therapist (Part- Time & Full-Time Options)
Location: Coburg, VIC (with flexible hours!)
Role: Contractor (3+ day/week, weekdays or Saturday)
Pay: $145 per client

What You’ll Be Doing:
Individual therapy: Use your skills to complete assessments and design evidence-based interventions that empower kids to reach their full potential.
Group Therapy: Team up with other allied health professionals to run fun, engaging group therapy sessions.
Neuro-Affirming Framework: Work within a neuro-affirming approach that celebrates each child’s unique strengths.
Collaboration: Partner with families, educators, and health professionals to support the child’s growth.
Ongoing Learning: Attend training and workshops to keep growing and learning.

What We’re Looking For:
A qualified Occupational Therapist
3+ years of experience working with kids
Neurodiversity-Affirming Mindset: An understanding of the importance of inclusive practices and creating a safe space for neurodiverse kids.
Family-Focused: An interest in partnering with parents and educators to support the child in all domains.
Must-Haves:
Energy and enthusiasm!!
Cultural sensitivity and awareness
Graduate or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Registration with Occupational Therapy Board and AHPRA
Knowledge of NDIS practice standards and framework
Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and First Aid
Victorian Driver's licence and access to own vehicle
IT competence (we'll support you with our Halaxy system
