The Role

As Payroll Coordinator, you'll support the end-to-end payroll process working closely with the outsourced payroll provider.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll deliver accurate, timely payroll services ensuring compliance with EBAs, Modern Awards and superannuation obligations.

• Assist with end-to-end payroll processing (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) across multiple entities for 250 + employees;
• Collect, calculate and enter data to maintain up-to-date payroll records;
• Liaise with Human Resources to ensure accurate application of EBAs, Modern Awards, superannuation and employment conditions;
• Coordinate with an outsourced payroll provider to ensure efficient processing;
• Process superannuation payments via clearing houses;
• Maintain time and attendance records; and
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries.

About You

• 2 + years proven experience as a payroll officer within a similar sized organisation;
• Working in a true end to end payroll environment, responsible for opening payroll, to processing bank files and third-party payments;
• Knowledge of Workday advantageous, but not essential;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information;
• Ability to work closely with HR regarding EBA, Modern Awards and Superannuation; and
• High level computer proficiency in MS Office Suite.
