About The Role:

Join our growing team at Monbulk Rose, Tree and Shrub Farm Pty Ltd! We’re currently looking for a Nursery Hand to support our day-to-day nursery operations. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a supportive team.

Located in the heart of Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges, we are a locally owned, family-operated wholesale nursery supplying high-quality plants to retail nurseries, garden centres, landscapers, and developers across Australia. With decades of horticultural experience, we specialise in the propagation and production of a wide variety of trees, shrubs, roses, and landscape-ready plants

Responsibilities:

Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch

Loading and unloading nursery stock onto trucks and trolleys

Potting, spacing, and maintaining plant stock

Pruning, weeding, fertilising, and general plant care

Assisting with nursery maintenance and seasonal production tasks

Supporting dispatch and production targets

Working both independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in all weather

Good attention to detail and takes pride in their work

Can work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Is reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

Preferred, but not essential:

Previous experience in a nursery

Manual car licence, Medium Rigid truck licence, forklift licence
