We’re currently partnering with a well-regarded business in Boronia who are seeking a hands-on and experienced Payroll Officer to jump in and keep things running smoothly while a key team member is away. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and broader finance team. You will need to be available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll / HR Administration

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll - 180 employees, ensuring all timesheets are accurate, approved, and reconciled
• Manage superannuation and PAYG lodgements, as well as monthly payroll tax across multiple states (VIC, NSW, QLD, TAS)
• Prepare payroll journals and reconcile payroll-related GL accounts in the ERP system (Infor)
• Maintain and update payroll master data, including onboarding and staff changes
• Assist with EOFY processes including STP finalisation, super and workers comp reconciliations
• Provide payroll-related reporting and support for internal audits, HR dashboards, and R&D tax claims
• Handle employee queries and ensure compliance with relevant awards and agreements

Accounts Payable

• Process supplier invoices and assist with weekly COD and monthly creditor payment runs
• Perform daily bank transaction checks and assist with reconciliations in the Infor system

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with solid payroll and general accounting experience who is comfortable stepping in and hitting the ground running. You will be detail-driven, tech-savvy, and enjoy working in a close-knit team.
