We’re seeking two motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join the housekeeping team at a beautiful boutique events and accommodation venue in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

This nature-based property hosts weddings, group stays, and retreats, and we’re looking for people who take pride in their work, love creating beautiful spaces, and are happy to work weekends as part of a small, supportive team.

AVAILABLE ROLES

1. Housekeeping Leader (Thursday to Monday)
Ideal for someone with experience leading housekeeping or cleaning teams. Days of work can be flexible if you are able to create a strong support team who can operate in your absence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and conduct daily cleaning tasks across guest rooms, main event space, and shared areas

Supervise and support a small housekeeping team

Use digital checklists to inspect and sign off spaces before guest arrivals

Manage linen and cleaning supply inventory

Order stock and coordinate linen prep for upcoming weddings and events

Liaise with the operations team to ensure the venue is guest-ready

Conduct detail days (typically Mondays) for deep cleans and planning

2. Support Housekeeper (Friday to Sunday)
Ideal for someone with solid cleaning experience who enjoys physical work and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

General cleaning of accommodation and main venue spaces (floors, surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens)

Make beds and reset guest rooms with fresh amenities and linen

Prepare and polish shared guest areas

Assist with laundry, restocking, and detail touches

Report any maintenance issues

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (leadership experience preferred for the Leader role)

Strong attention to detail and presentation

Ability to follow systems, checklists, and schedules

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Reliability and availability on weekends is essential

Willingness to work in a physically active role in a nature-based setting
