Skyline Farm is a working cattle farm and short-stay accommodation provider set on 755 acres of picturesque farmland in Rosevale, nestled within the Scenic Rim.

About the role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to uphold a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across our two short stay accommodation properties.
This is a casual role with a minimum of 20 hours per week. While you will primarily work independently, you will be part of a supporting, close-knit team that collectively manages the farm and accommodation operations.
Working hours are somewhat flexible but must align with guest bookings. You will have full visibility of the booking calendars, allowing you to plan your work schedule in advance. For quick changeovers, other Skyline Farm team members will be available to assist.
About the properties
We currently operate two short-stay accommodation properties on site, with a third house due to commence construction soon. The properties are located just a few minutes’ drive apart.
The Farmhouse is a spacious 7-bedroom, 5-bathroom home that caters to large group bookings and events such as weddings, birthdays and family gatherings. It is typically booked well in advance.
The Barn is a luxurious yet cosy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat, ideal for couples or small families, and is usually booked 1-2 months ahead.
What the role involves
Thoroughly cleaning and preparing our short-stay accommodation properties before guest arrivals
Laundering of used linen and towels (bath, shower, hand and tea towels) on site
Replenishing supplies and ensuring all guest amenities are fully stocked (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, soap, sponges, dishwasher pods, tea, coffee, sugar, etc.)
Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the properties
Keeping the storerooms tidy and informing Skyline Farm’s Administrator when supplies are running low or need replenishing
Promptly reporting any damaged furniture, problems or potential issues directly to Skyline Farm’s owner or the relevant farm staff member.
Cleaning tasks involve:
Vacuuming and mopping floors, including under beds and lounges
Cleaning kitchen appliances such as coffee machines, toasters, kettles, microwaves, ovens, cooktops and rangehoods
Emptying the dishwasher/s and washing any leftover dishes
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, toilets and sinks
Wiping down benchtops, tabletops, hard-surface chairs, and the interior/exterior of fridges & freezers
Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces, and stair handrails
Returning furniture, toys, and other items to their original locations
Tidying the children’s playroom and bedroom as needed
Spot cleaning walls and lounges, etc. where marks or dirt are visible.
Laundering tasks involve:
Washing and drying all used linen and towels
Soaking stained linen or towels as needed to ensure they are clean and presentable
Ironing pillowcases and tea towels to ensure they are wrinkle-free
Neatly folding linen and placing spare sets into labelled storage boxes in storeroom
Neatly making beds and arranging pillows to create a guest-ready presentation
Presenting towels in a tidy, guest-ready manner.

Qualifications and requirements
Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines when required
Dependable, punctual and dedicated to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards for our guests
Honest, reliable and trustworthy
Clear and effective communication skills
A positive, friendly and helpful attitude
Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to efficiently change multiple beds and safely lift or move furniture or cleaning equipment as needed
A valid licence and reliable transport.
