The Eromanga Natural History Museum (ENHM) is a unique educational and tourism destination dedicated to discovering, conserving, and showcasing Australia’s prehistoric megafauna and natural history. As a not-for-profit organisation, we connect with the public through immersive experiences, hands-on education, original research, and captivating displays.

Located just 3 km from Eromanga in South West Queensland, our 167-hectare reserve is home to one of the most exciting outback attractions in Australia—offering world-class fossil exhibits, guided tours, and 4-star equivalent accommodation at Cooper’s Country Lodge.

🧹 About the Role: Housekeeper

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at Cooper’s Country Lodge. This is more than just a cleaning role—it’s an opportunity to be part of a passionate team supporting a world-class museum experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities

Operate in a small commercial-style laundry

Assist with basic catering and ordering of consumables

Work collaboratively and independently to meet daily goals

Occasionally support other museum areas such as the café, reception, and tour guiding

What We’re Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and time management

Proven experience in housekeeping and laundry operations

Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

Basic to intermediate computer skills

A proactive, can-do attitude and flexibility to assist across departments
