Southport Motel and Apartments is an Australian family-owned property located in Southport. We specialise in providing holiday accommodation, group accommodation, corporate accommodation, and medical accommodation.

Southport Motel and Apartments is seeking an experienced, friendly, casual housekeeping attendant to join our Team!

As part of the Housekeeping team, you would be responsible for offering a quality customer service experience by maintaining the high-level cleanliness of our rooms and apartments.

Tasks include (These are not limited to):

Making beds and changing bed linen.

Vacuuming and mopping of floors.

Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, BBQ's, staff rooms and offices

Restocking amenities, trolleys, cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment.

Ensure all housekeeping requirements are attended to on a regular basis and to a high standard.

Work in a positive team environment showing excellent customer service skills to guests.

The ideal person will possess:

Customer focused with good English skills.

Hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic.

Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Previous experience is essential.

Fully conversant with health and safety obligations.

This role is physically demanding and requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is looking for a challenge and to work as part of the team.

Roster requirements can be across all 7 days from Monday to Sunday inclusive, higher hourly rate applies to Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

Initially it will be approx 10 to 15 hours per week, this will increase in the busier school holidays and peak periods.
