BRM Private Clients Pty Ltd a boutique accounting & financial planning firm based in Seymour VIC has an opening for a Senior Client Services Support Officer (CSSO) – Maternity Leave contract to join our friendly admin team.

We are seeking a motivated individual with previous administration experience who would like to join a small close-knit team as Senior CSSO. The position would suit an experienced administrator, preferably with a background in financial planning, who would like the opportunity to progress into a more senior role. Those currently undertaking Business/Finance studies are encouraged to apply.

You will give daily support to our two lead Advisers coordinating with our existing CSSO’s to ensure client expectations are met in a timely fashion and compliance with our licensee standards. As a Senior CSSO you will be responsible for delegating and monitoring daily workflow across the team and providing effective leadership.

Duties:

Daily use of XPLAN software including data management and entry (training provided)

Delegate and coordinate workflow effectively across CSSO team

Effectively communicate on current work-in-progress.

Track and report on progress in regular team meetings

Assist Advisers in tracking and prioritising their ongoing work

Demonstrate leadership and time-management skills by navigating the team through busy periods and prioritising workload.

Take accountability and ownership over client experience process

Daily use of multiple investment platforms for client portfolio management

Implement complex advice strategies

Ensuring the timely and accurate implementation of advice

Ensure compliance across team with current Licensee Standards

Provide additional support and training to CSSO’s as required

Contribute to ongoing improvement of processes within the team to create efficiencies

Our ideal candidate

This role requires a motivated individual with strong leadership and communication skills who can coordinate a busy team whilst maintaining consistency under pressure. Good time management skills including prioritisation and attention to detail are a must. You are an approachable individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of clear communication and mutual respect for effective team leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

Demonstrated Management or Leadership experience (required)

Minimum 2+ years previous experience in administration (preferably in financial planning)

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, OneDrive etc)

Experienced using XPLAN software (preferred)

Certificate or Bachelor in Financial Planning or undertaking similar studies (preferred)
