Fire and Rescue Australia (FARA) commenced in Hawthorndene South Australia in November 1994, initially supplying goods or services to the South Australian Country Fire Service. Since then, FARA has expanded to become a market leader in providing specialised Fire, Rescue and Safety equipment.
FARA's capability to source and provide equipment (or services) has enabled us to maintain our leadership in the market place.
About the role
You will be the first point of contact for Fire & Rescue customers and day-to-day enquiries. Working right at the forefront of our business, responsible for providing a fantastic customer experience to the local community and wider customer base.
- Professional handling of all phone, email & customer and website enquiries
- Identify and explore our customer needs and forming strong relationships
- Respond to all customer enquiries within a reasonable timeframe
- Mange payment enquiries, including billing, invoicing and updating of customer account details
- Deliver updates and reports to customers
- Accurately capture and record of customer data in Fire & Rescue systems
- Help to create a culture that focuses on positive customer experiences
About you
- A knowledge of fire and safety equipment would be an advantage
- Ability to engage effectively with customers and other stakeholders
- Passion and initiative, an eye-for-detail, and be outcome driven
- Strong attention to detail and very organised
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Office admin experience
- Working knowledge, understanding and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to provide solutions based on customer needs
- A strong attention to detail, self-organisation, and the ability to meet deadlines is important.
- You will be passionate about fire safety learning the issues relating to the the local community
