About the Role

You will mainly be responsible for maintenance, fault diagnosing and repairs of a variety of mechanical equipment relating to energy services such as diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, pumps, sand conveyor systems and hydraulic & pneumatic systems.

This position reports to the Supervisor and will be based in Roma, QLD on a 2/2 FIFO roster flying from Brisbane. You may also be required to work at any of our various operations in WA, SA, or QLD on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive maintenance procedures on Halliburton equipment

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems

Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts

Test equipment for proper operation

Role Requirements

Heavy Mechanic/Road Transport Trade Certificate

Experience with Cummins and Caterpillar engines (Desirable)

Experience with hydraulic systems (Highly regarded)

Current Australian Driver’s license (HR Desirable)
