About the Role

We’re currently looking for dedicated Social Workers to join our Spring Hill, Brisbane team. In this vital role, you’ll provide high-quality support to veterans, enhancing their overall wellbeing—physically, psychologically, and socially. You'll be part of a collaborative and values-led team that's shaping better futures for those who’ve served.

What You'll Be Doing:

Delivering tailored social work services aligned with Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) guidelines

Conducting telehealth assessments, case formulation, treatment planning, case management, and reviews

Coordinating internal and external referrals and allied health intake bookings

Maintaining documentation to professional standards and within timelines

Creating and implementing psychosocial treatment plans focused on social isolation, mental health, pain management, and rehabilitation

About You

You’ll bring:

A Degree in Social Work and AASW membership

Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident

Experience working with veterans or clients with complex or chronic health needs (or a strong interest in developing this skillset if you're a new graduate)

Excellent communication and case management skills

The ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team

A compassionate, client-centered approach grounded in dignity and respect

A commitment to ethical practice, ongoing learning, and professional development
