About the Role

As a Field Service Diesel Technician at Falcon Diesel, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services to multiple clients in the mining industry. This full time role is based in Brisbane, QLD 4000 But will be predominantly leave/additional coverage onsite.

What You'll Be Doing

Performing routine and preventative maintenance on Various mining machinery (hardrock underground and opencut)

performing various rosters to suit clients requirements

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Providing emergency breakdown support

Demonstrating expertise in load & haul operations, with exposure to drill equipment being highly beneficial

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a seamless customer experience

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What We're Looking For

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Strong communication and customer service orientation

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required

Relevant trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic

Ability to obtain or hold a National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months

Experience with Cummins, CAT, Volvo Penta, John Deere, Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet, Hitachi, Komatsu is highly regarded

Previous shift work exposure

Background or training from OEMs highly regarded

Familiarity with diagnostic programs
