The Opportunity

Experienced Utilities Testers / Test Leads with AMI = Advanced Metering Infrastructure along with MDM Meter Data Managemnet - IEE / UIQ / SIQ .

This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension, working on complex system integration across core energy platforms.

This opportunity does not offer sponsorship and requires you to be in the office based in Melbourne CBD 2 days per week.

The Role

As a Test Lead / Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for hands-on testing of integrated systems across a multi-party environment.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Planning, documenting, and executing functional and technical test cases across energy systems
• Leading end-to-end system integration testing across platforms such as SAP-ISU, IEE/MTS, UIQ/SIQ
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across a multi-vendor environment
• Driving quality outcomes through structured test processes in a primarily waterfall delivery environment
• Supporting defect management, triage, and test reporting across the project lifecycle
• Ensuring traceability between business requirements and test coverage

About you

In order to be a successful applicant you will bring proven experience in testing within large, regulated energy sector environments.

You will also have:

• Strong domain expertise in the energy/utilities sector
• Hands-on experience with SAP-ISU, IEE/MTS and multi-party systems like UIQ and SIQ
• Experience testing integrations between retail, metering, and customer platforms
• A collaborative approach with the confidence to drive outcomes and challenge processes when needed
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Exposure to waterfall delivery and formal test lifecycle methodologies
