Senior Test Analyst

• $850 - $1000 per day incl Super

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst has become available working within a one of Australia's leading and largest Energy Organisations! With a high rate and long contract length with view to extend!

Your Role:

As the Senior Test Analyst you will ensure the quality and reliability of IT systems and applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects and ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

Your Duties:

• You will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver solutions that support operational and strategic objectives
• You will contribute to the development of test strategies, test plans, and project schedules
• You will create test data requirements and ensure data availability for testing cycles
• You will execute various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• You will identify opportunities for process improvement within the testing lifecycle

Your Desired Skills and Experience:

• Background with Energy/Utilities
• Proven experience 3+ years as a Test Analyst or similar Quality Assurance role
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
• Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM Octane)
