We’re working with a large, complex organisation to bring on three experienced HR Advisers to support busy, high-performing teams during a period of transition and demand. With movement across teams and increasing internal pressures (think annual leave, resignations, stretched capacity), these roles will provide essential, hands-on support where it’s needed most.
You won’t be managing a portfolio — instead, you’ll be embedded in high-functioning teams, triaging case work, navigating enterprise agreements with confidence, and helping to keep things calm, compliant, and moving forward.
What you’ll be doing:
- Generalist HR advisory across employee matters, policy, and operational support
- Confidently interpreting and applying enterprise agreements from day one
- Taking ownership of case work — managing risk, balancing priorities, and staying composed
- Engaging with a diversly skilled workforce across multiple settings
- Working within different teams depending on where the workload lands
Who we’re looking for:
- Generalist HR advisory experience is essential, bring confidence in guiding managers through the full spectrum of operational HR
- A calm operator who can handle complexity and competing priorities
- Strong understanding of industrial instruments, policies, and case management
- Someone who’s ready to jump straight into the work — with support, not handholding
- Experience in large, knowledge-based or public organisations is welcome
- Qualifications are a bonus, but not essential if you’ve got the track record in delivery of HR advice in a complex environment
About the teams:
Team 1 – Structured, tight-knit and methodical. Everything has a process; everything has a place. Ideal if you like clear boundaries, fast pace, and know how to prioritise.
Team 2 – Analytical and data-focused. A bit more siloed, very evidence focused. You’ll need to be confident referencing the EA daily and navigating detail-heavy matters with care.
Team 3 – Lean and autonomous. It’s just you and a manager, so this would suit someone independent who’s comfortable steering their own ship.
