Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced arborist to join our team. While overall operational experience and qualifications are crucial, what matters most is your ability to be part of the team, work well with others and deliver outstanding customer service.

In this role, you will primarily work with our commercial team delivering premium services to commercial and local government clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day to day operation of EWP, equipment, offsider and any associated tasks e.g. communicating with clients.

Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality results for our clients.

Using our software, conduct daily vehicle pre-start checks and job safety checks.

Perform tree pruning, removals, and other tasks using industry best practices.

Operate and maintain equipment, including EWPs, chainsaws, trucks, chippers, and stump grinders.

Communicate well with all colleagues and maintain reliability.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and guidelines

Qualifications

Essential:

Proficiency in EWP cutting and pruning

Proficiency in ground-based cutting and pruning

Proficiency in basic rigging techniques

Basic knowledge of tree species, pests, and diseases relevant to Melbourne

Valid driver’s license (MR+)

White Card

Working with children’s check – employee

EWP (Elevating Work Platform)

Cert II ESI

First Aid

Desirable:

Certificate III in Arboriculture (or working towards) or equivalent experience

Traffic Management certification
