As they continue to grow, we are seeking a Yard Coordinator to oversee the smooth operation of our yard facilities.

About the Role
As a Yard Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the movement of vehicles and equipment within our yard to ensure seamless logistics operations. This hands-on position involves operating forklifts, overseeing asset check-in, photographing vehicles, detailing and decal removal.

Duties will also include loading and unloading trucks, directing vehicle traffic and other material-handling equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams, transport providers, and external stakeholders to optimize yard operations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Location: Spring Farm NSW

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

Salary: $70,000 + super + Comapny Benefits (listed below) + overtime

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Conduct vehicle check-in, appraisals, and photography to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Operate loaders and forklifts to safely manage asset movement within the yard.
• Perform vehicle detailing to enhance asset value for auction.
• Recover and manage vehicle keys, license plates, and other essential items.
• Verify documentation and resolve asset discrepancies.
• Coordinate logistics with transport providers for timely asset delivery and removal.
• Assist clients, assessors, and transporters with on-site inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and provide performance updates to management.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years in a similar operational role (automotive, auction, logistics, or salvage industries preferred).
• Forklift License (or willingness to obtain).
• Mechanically Minded: An interest in automotive or mechanical repairs is desirable.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Experience handling logistical challenges and safety compliance.
• Customer-Focused Approach: Comfortable interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform yard tasks, lift and move assets, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Driver's Licence required for site operations.
