Bookkeeper – Construction / Tiling Industry

About the Role
NSW Ultimate Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a part-time or full-time Bookkeeper to join our growing team based in Sydney, NSW. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the construction or trades industry, looking to support a dynamic wall and floor tiling business with end-to-end financial management and job cost tracking.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing accounts payable and receivable

Processing employee payroll, superannuation, and entitlements

Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards

Managing Xero bookkeeping software (or similar)

Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and assisting with EOFY requirements

Tracking project costs, retentions, variations, and claims

Supporting the director with reports, cash flow summaries, and financial insights

Liaising with the accountant, suppliers, and clients as needed

What We’re Looking For

Proven bookkeeping experience (ideally in construction or trade services)

Strong knowledge of Xero and ATO compliance requirements

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple job accounts

Excellent communication and time management skills

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Experience with construction job costing or retention tracking highly regarded
