Workforce Planning Reporting Analyst - 3 months Contract

Location:Tallawong - Hybrid (3 days office - 2 days WFH)

3 months contract with strong possibility to extend
Work for Australia's largest public transport project
Tallawong location - 3 days from the office and rest from home

The Role

To provide essential data entry and workforce planning support for the launch of a new rostering system. This role will be critical in ensuring accurate and timely roster data entry during both the pre- and post-go-live phases. In addition, the role will support the broader project team through data analysis, reporting, and workforce optimisation activities — including generating insights and contributing to the development of automated rostering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter roster data into the new system based on provided templates and workforce schedules/instructions.
• Work closely with the project and rostering teams to validate and cross-check data.
• Support testing and verification of roster scenarios to ensure system readiness.
• Flag data gaps or inconsistencies to WFP and the Project team.
• Monitor and report on workforce adoption survey insights and generate reports to inform decision-making.
• Help document processes and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in workforce optimisation / rostering or reporting role.
• Strong skills in Excel and data management tools - Power BI a big plus!
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience with data entry, preferably in a workforce planning or rostering environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight time frames in a fast-paced environment.
