An exciting opportunity exists to join our team as a Project Officer – Infrastructure. Your primary role is to support the planning, design, coordination and delivery of assigned capital works projects to deliver civil, roads, buildings, public open space and general infrastructure projects as assigned through the department. This is a permanent, full-time position which will report to the Executive Manager Infrastructure and Assets.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
Leading the scoping and engineering of projects primarily in the Infrastructure and Assets department, but potentially more broadly across the organisation.
Supporting and contributing to the planning of projects and ensure projects can be delivered in scope, on time, to the specified quality and are aligned with the Shire’s Asset Hierarchy and Level of Service Document, Strategic documents and Project delivery principles; and
Providing project management support for the Infrastructure and Assets team and broader organisation in the development, planning and delivery stages of various programs and projects including management of external consultancy, internal stakeholders and contractors.
Competitive conditions of employment are offered including a salary of $101,922.08 per annum plus 12.0% superannuation contribution and co-contributions of up to 5%. The appointed person will be required to work 76 hours per fortnight on a 9-day fortnightly cycle.
