Our client is a statutory NSW government body that oversees a private consortium and is building five renewable energy zones in NSW

These are multi-billion dollar, major infrastructure undertakings. The Greenfield Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) projects will connect solar, wind farms and energy storage to the NSW electricity grid

Role Description:

The Contracts Manager will lead contract management services within the project controls team from the point of supplier onboarding (following procurement) through to supplier off-boarding.

This includes

Receipting of supplier invoices and monthly reports
Completion of preliminary assurance
Coordinating review and endorsement from contract managers
Maintaining of the contract dashboard
Coordinating of contractor performance reviews
Management of variations
Issue resolution
Contractor off-boarding

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in contract management in an integrated project controls team in a complex infrastructure project over the entire project lifecycle and knowledge of all project management disciplines
• Understanding of the contract management, finance, budgeting and reporting expectations of NSW Government
• Demonstrated extensive experience of contract management or equivalent management responsibility in a high risk environment and understanding of risk management strategies and practice.
