As Executive Assistant to the Dean of Science, you'll play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the Faculty. You'll have the opportunity to hone your organisational and communication skills while supporting high-level academic leadership. This position offers you the chance to contribute significantly to the Faculty's success, working in a dynamic, collaborative environment at the heart of the University's operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide High-Quality Executive Support: Manage the Dean's diary, coordinate meetings, and prepare materials for various engagements.
- Manage Communications: Handle correspondence, email triage, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate Administrative Processes: Arrange travel, process expenses, and assist with faculty recruitment and performance reviews.
- Contribute to Team Success: Collaborate with colleagues, identify process improvements, and support other senior executives as needed.

You are an experienced executive assistant with excellent organisational skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex academic environment.
You may also:
- Have experience supporting senior executives in a complex, dynamic environment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms for scheduling and records management.
- Have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle confidential matters.
- Show a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in administrative processes.
