The Company:

We are currently seeking an experienced Company Accountant to join a dynamic ASX-listed organisation undergoing a pivotal phase of commercial transformation. This is a critical, high-impact role that will play a key part in strengthening financial operations and supporting the business through a period of significant change.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position offers exposure to group-level financial operations and will play a critical role in the integrity of reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of statutory accounts in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and ASX reporting obligations
• Maintain and improve internal control systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements, board reporting packs, and audit processes.
• Support the organisation through the commercial transformation by providing clear financial insights, risk assessments, and process improvements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with key business units.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements (GST, BAS, FBT, etc.)
• Liaise with external auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders across finance and operations.

Your Skills & Experience

• CA or CPA qualified, with experience in a Chartered Accounting firm (highly desirable)
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a company accounting or group reporting environment
• Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards, compliance, and corporate reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of people in different functions.
• Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
