Architectural Hardwood Joinery is seeking an experienced CNC Operator/Wood Machinist. Biesse Machine, bSolid/bSuite:

Duties to include:

Timber Machining, use of Planner/Thicknesser and multi-head cutting machines experience preferable

Plans machining by studying work orders, materials, and drawings. Responsible for tooling inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipated sharpening stock, and placing orders.

Programming of machine by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.

Loading by lifting stock into position.

Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, if required.

Maintains specifications by observing drilling, cutting operations.

Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions.

Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
