About the role

AAM have a full-time permanent position available for suitably qualified trades people. Duties will include carrying out operational and maintenance activities at our timber processing facility located at Bathurst in Central West New South Wales, Australia.

What we're looking for

Trade qualified Wood Machinist, or other trade with wood machining experience.

Ability to workday shift, afternoon shift or flexible hours as per operational requirements.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Must have a safety mindset and be a strong team player.

Current forklift licence and construction industry white card would be highly regarded

About us
The site is a mid-tier radiata sawmill company processing approximately 90,000m3 p.a. small saw logs. The business also produces framing and landscaping products. The mill is a modern Hewsaw SL200 sawline with fully optimised automation to gain high recovery and productivity. Other onsite facilities include a timber treatment plant, kiln drying and a drymill.
