We’re now looking for a proactive, people-focused Client Services Officer / Financial Planning Assistant to join our tight-knit team and support our Principal Adviser across client care, advice implementation, and administrative execution.
Your Key Responsibilities
This is not a behind-the-scenes data entry job — this is a dynamic role where you'll build relationships, manage the adviser’s workflow, and help clients feel genuinely supported.
1. Communication with Clients
Be the first point of contact for client questions and updates.
Make outbound calls to support clients through onboarding, document collection, implementation, and ongoing service.
Prepare, send, and follow up on professional correspondence.
2. Workflow and Calendar Management
Own the adviser’s diary and scheduling — meetings, reviews, tasks.
Proactively manage priorities and keep tasks moving.
Track advice implementation progress from start to finish.
3. Implementation of Advice
Execute financial strategies across superannuation, insurance, investments, and Centrelink.
Lodge new business applications, manage rollovers and underwriting requirements.
Coordinate follow-ups with providers, clients, and third parties.
4. Adviser–Paraplanner Liaison
Bridge the gap between Matt’s strategy and the paraplanner’s output.
Translate client discussions and adviser notes into actionable briefs.
Ensure advice documents reflect strategy and are delivered on time.
5. Ad-Hoc Admin and Project Support
Assist with admin projects, client data entry, document management, and compliance record-keeping.
Continually look for process improvements and opportunities to enhance client experience.
About You

Your Must-Haves:
Strong verbal communication skills and phone confidence.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Keen attention to detail and strong organisational habits.
Previous experience in financial planning, super, or insurance admin.
Extra points for:
RG146 or working towards a degree in Financial Planning.
Experience in managing advice implementation across the client lifecycle.
A genuine interest in financial advice and helping people.
