About the role

AGPROJX Pty Ltd are seeking motivated and hardworking and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Gindie, QLD. This is a casual role assisting with the installation of trellis systems for our agricultural client commencing in immediately. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the ramming of steel inserts in which the trellis is built upon and contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the construction and installation of trellis systems for vineyards and orchards

Performing excavator operations. (Hitachi 8.5t excavator with a hydraulic rock breaker with post ramming attachment)

Following safety procedures and demonstrating a commitment to workplace health and safety

Ensuring equipment is maintained and fit for service

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as excavator operator is a must

Ability to follow instructions, meet key performance indicator targets and work as part of a team

Good physical fitness and stamina to carry out physically demanding tasks

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

A current driver's licence and excavator ticket
